Does anyone know how to set up page layout so that I can print max. four pages
newsletter style on an 11x17 sheet of paper? The result should look like a 4-
page book, with each page being 8 1/2 x 11.

I tried folding the 11x17 paper in half first and then printing each page one at
a time, but after printing the first page, the printer creased the fold very
badly.

Thanks,

Lisa

Booklets are a pain in Word.

Have a look at http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/BookletPrinting.htm
It won't do what you want however. The only real solution is to use the
relatively expensive print utility ClickBook from www.bluesquirrel.com, but
you need to be printing a lot of booklets to make this a viable option.

If what you're trying to do is print an 11x17 booklet on a printer that will
accommodate only 8.5x11 paper, then what you really need to do is just print
your letter-size pages and photocopy them onto 11x17.

Not before time - but Word 2002, at the moment is an answer to a problem I
haven't got!

The position with Outlook is even worse. Lotus Organizer from the earliest
version could print to the most complex layouts - for loading into a paper
filofax - Outlook has never been able to do this. Clickbook does the
business, but I object to its cost - they have just asked me to buy a $10
upgrade to add footers!
