I am doing a document in landscape layout with two pages
on one. I have used a page border, but when I print it
out, the border on the right side will not print. I have
all four sides indicated in borders layout. And no matter
how I change the text margins or the border
specifications, it won't print. Any ideas?

See "The bottoms of my pages don't print: The page number, footer, or page
border doesn't print or prints only partially (or: the right-hand side of my
landscape pages won't print)" at

Jean:

Your right side border is probably just outside the print area of your
printer. Move it in on the page just a bit and see. Most printers don't
print closer than 1/4" to the page edges and ink jets need about 1/2" at the
leading edge of the page.

As stated, it is probably that the border is currently in the unprintable
region. Consider the setting under Format/Border...Page Border tab....then
click the Options button on the lower left of the dialog. You can set the
border to print xxx from the text or from the edge of the page.

Dear Jean,
I had the same problem and I have solved it. Your
document must be saved in RTF format in order to get page
borders to work properly. All printers need you to save in
RTF format, except cannon. Cannon is the only one ive
found so far that you dont have to do this. Try and see
if this works for you.

Hi Donna,

I don't understand what you are referring to. If you are printing a document to an InkJet printer then what you see in Print Preview is what you'll get. :-)

You can change the printer driver at any time (go to File/Print, select a different printer driver and close) and the page border will display differently in Print Preview.

For example if I switch to an HP 5 LaserJet then the page border will preview fine. If I use the same document and switch to an Epson InkJet then the page border will not appear on the top or bottom of the page in Print Preview. It doesn't matter what the format the document is in.
