I am trying to make four, quarter sheet flyers onto one standard 8 1/2 x 11
page. How do I set up my MSWord to accomplish this?

If you have Word 2000 or above, you can set the flyer up as a full page and
then choose "4 pages per sheet" in the Print dialog. If you're using an
earlier version, you may have this capability in your printer driver.
Otherwise, you can set the page up as a 2x2 table or use two columns and put
the information twice into each column.

Suzanne, I followed your advice. Once I printed the page, only the top left
corner printed out. Which leaves me with 3/4 of a blank sheet. I think your
methhod is on the right track, but I'm thinking that we are still missing
something. What are your thoughts?

If it's just a single page, you have to tell Word to print pages 1,1,1,1.

Thanks for the answers. I didn't understand the 2x2 table; however, making the
two columns and putting everything in each column twice worked beautifully.
Thanks again.

Formatting one page, then printing 4 per page was the first answer I needed. But, the second part was vital, too, which was to print page 1,1,1,1. Thank you so much! You saved a me a lot of time and trouble here at work!!

Save the page as a PDF. If you do that, printing options in the PDF for me said "copies per page" & you can choose "4" to make quarter sheets. That was the only way I could figure this out.

1,1,1,1 is GREAT. WORKS LIKE A CHARM, perfect spacing, no more grids, SO EASY
Did a whole page exactly as I wanted it to be
in print options(where it says 1 page per sheet), select 4 Pages Per sheet
in the box under Print All Pages type 1,1,1,1
*it will not display the changes in the preview, but it prints right*

There was no option for 4 pages per sheet, only 2. Where is the option for 4?

That was soooo simple! Thank you! I remember the days when you had to mess with the margins and print on the same page 4X and had to turn the page this way and that way! 1,1,1,1...who knew.

Hello,

First, you could use a 2x2 table. That is not how I would do it.

Instead, I would create the flyer as a full-size page.
Then insert a manual page break at the end Ctrl+Enter.
Then Ctr+A to select All.
Ctrl + C to copy.
Ctrl+V four times to paste four times.
Ctrl+End to go to the end of the document and Backspace to delete that
final page break.

You should now have a document with 4 pages, all with the same content.

When you print, print to 4 pages to 1.

You can do better layout with the table but the 4 to one is easier for
me.

OMG-Setting the page to print 4, and then for pages, print 1,1,1,1 is SO easy. Thank you for this information. :-)
