Each "Heading 1" is the start of a new section or chapter. Each "Heading 1"
is preceded by a section break. I'd like page numbering to begin new in each
section. I'd also like the page number of each section to be preceeded by
the section number (i.e. 1-1, 1-2... 2-1, 2-1, etc..)
I haven't been able to figure out how to do this. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Edward Lee

To restart the page numbering, go to Insert/Page Number/Format and set the
"Start At" to 1.
Also in this dialog box, select the "Heading 1" style for "Chapter numbering".
Note, however, that you will actually have to number the Heading 1 style. But
you can format that number as "hidden" if you don't want it displayed.

I typed the section name (Staff Responsiblities for example), highlighted
it, and chose Heading 1 from the Style drop down box. Is this the wrong way
to do it? Are you saying that the section actually has to be called Heading
1? If I can hide it, how do I do this?
Thanks for your help Cindy.
