Hi, my names in Gianni and I write from Italy.
My question is:
Can I create a automatic munbering of documents starting from a template
doc?
I explane. My scope is create a "PROTOCOL" whit create date and a number
that augment the value every time this template when opened.
Es. prot. 001 del 27 gennaio 2002, prot. 002 del 28 gennaio 2002 etc.

And this number can to be saved in the title of document?

Thanks and excuses my TERRIBLE english!!!

I don't know about the date (unless it's the creation date, in which case a
CreateDate field will work), but you can do the numbering with the
instructions at http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/MacrosVBA/NumberDocs.htm

The mvps site also has a macro for generating UNIQUE INVOICE numbers
from your template.
