Word 2000. I am writing a report in Portrait style. I need to place a
spreadsheet in the report in a Landscape format. Is there a way to place
this one page
as a Landscape view and retain the rest of the report in Portrait view? I
tried to paste the spreadsheet into a Text Box and use the rotate option on
the Draw
menu to rotate the graphic but evidently these options are not available for
the Text Box. Any suggestions welcomed.

Thanks,

Les

If you go to the end of the page you want to remain
portrait style you can insert a section break (Insert,
Break, Next page). Then you can go to File, Page Set up,
Paper size and choose landscape. There will be an "apply
to" section on the lower right side. Click ok. Now you
have one page in portrait and one in landscape. Do the
same thing at the end of the landscape page to return the
following page to portrait.

If you need to have a portrait page number or header/footer on your
landscape page(s), see
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/LandscapeSection.htm, which also
explains a shortcut method of creating landscape sections.
