Hi Robert,

Any further suggestions to my responses of 8 Feb?
Both fax and e-mail addresses are present on entries which are visible in
Outlook contact but same contacts are not visible in address book in Word.

Diane

Hi Diane,
as a test could you delete one of the contacts and then recreate it.

Hi Robert,

Recreating entry didn't work either! There's nothing unique about the
entry, starts with CBS Design ..., I have other entries similar which I
don't have problems with.

Hi Diane,
Are you using Custom Contact form's. Also in one of your previous posts you
mentioned that this is a shared Contact list. Is this a Public Folder
share.

Robert,

Yes I'm using Custom Contact forms.
Public Folder - if you mean did I go down the route of File > Share > This
Folder - to Net Folder wizard, this is the route I took.

Regards
Diane

Hi Diane,
In Outlook can you click on Tools > Update Contacts from Customer Manager >
Options > Point it to the folder in the Outlook Contact Folders and check
the box at the bottom about Delete Outlook Contacts. In the meantime I'll
do some more digging.

Diane,

I'm running out of ideas on this one, with Outlook closed you could try
renaming frmcache.dat (it will recreate itself) this sometimes gets
corrupted. Yours is definitely a strange problem especially using Net
Folders in this way. You may want to talk to your IT people about the
possibility of Public Folders then you can dispose of the Net Folder which
are notoriously flaky.
