Prior to upgrading to Windows Live Mail latest version 14. I was able
to send email via word. It appears that is no longer possible unless
something gets fixed.
Can some one tell me how they send email via word.
TIA

I haven't the slightest idea why there seems to be no workaround (unless
it's MS's desire not to play well with others programs). Obviously, this was
never a problem with 95, 97, 2000, or 2003.
I have set Live as my default in Windows 7 but still have the three-click

While in WORD, Clicking the Send to Email option off the Windows button
gives "Logon Failed. You must log on to Microsoft Exchange to access your
address book. Error Code: "Unspecified Error" .
I found the same as the other posting.... when I click on the SEND to EMAIL
button three times... it works. Huh? Why does it work the third time and
not the first? If you keep Live Mail open, and Word open.. it continues to
work. However, when you close Word, and open it again.. you're back to the
magical 3x a charm. Really annoying!
This is RIDICULOUS! It worked fine with OFF2003. Is this just another lazy
programming error?
What fix will solve it? The registry fix, supplied by Doug Robbins, seems
to assume we want it connected to Outlook for the email program. But, I do
not. I simply want it to open Windows Live Mail and attach the document
there.
I'm hesitant to apply the auto-fix, as the write-up didn't specifically
state that it was only fixing the Word error, or making a correction to point
to Outlook.
Please help!
