I am using Word XP for G4 Mac Laptop. I insert a picture and then want to
move it around on the page. How do I do this?

Pictures are generally inserted 'inline with text'. While that won't
prevent you from moving the picture around (click and drag, same as if
it were text), you can only place it where there are paragraphs. To
get full placement control, you need to set the wrapping to one of the
floating options. Select the picture, Format menu > Format Picture >
Layout tab, under Wrapping, select the text wrapping option you want.

There's also a button on the Picture toolbar that makes this easier.
It's the one with the puppy on it.

(I only have Word 2K - Windows. You may need to adjust these
directions to match your flavor of Word.)
