I've got several child documents which I want to link in a master document.
The child docs have to preserve their entire formatting, so I'd like to
reduce them to about 90% of the original size and display them in the master
document. The master doc should have its own header/footer running through
the whole story.

Can I do this in Word97 (SR-2)? I used to work with DTP software such as
Pagemaker earlier where this task was no problem at all, i.e. I could define
a frame and tell the software to display another document within that frame
on each page.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Andy
