Hi,

I have the following problem when using multiple instances of the same
subdocument in a master document.

When creating a TOC Word locks up at the second instance of the subdocument
and the TOC is unable to be created.

Are there any tricks that I need to know? It is essential that multiple
instances are used in the master.

thanks in advance

-james

Hi James

See:
Why Master Documents corrupt
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/General/WhyMasterDocsCorrupt.htm

If you explain your project in detail someone may be able to suggest a good
alternative approach.

Also, please don't cross-post to so many newsgroups, especially as several
of them are hosted on different news servers from each other, which means
that nobody will be able to follow the full thread, so will end up wasting
their time answering a question that's aleady been answered.

Regards

Dave
