I am attempting to set up a template for the creation of a manual for
the company I'm contracting with. The template so far has a header with
the company logo, and a little bit about the document (title, author,
etc.), a footer, with more info on the document and the page number, a
title page, a text page (two columns), and a graphics page (no columns).
All pages are in Landscape mode. Each page also has a watermark to tell
the users what goes where ("Title Page," "Text Page," and "Graphic
Page").
The Title page (page 1) has an even page section break, the Text Page
(2) has an odd page section break, and the Graphic page has no break at
all.
What I'm trying to do -- and feel free to point me in another direction
if I'm going about this incorrectly -- is create a macro which copies
pages 2 and 3 from the template, and pastes them in at the end of the
document (for when the author needs more pages, as the formatting must
be Just So(tm)).
The code I use for the field is {includetext "Almost_Done_Template"
[Lesson_Text]\!}.
It usually complains that it can't open the file. The file in question
is an actual template which resides on the Desktop (right next to the
document I'm working on, in fact). The bookmark has been inserted in
the template.
The big question: Did I format the file name incorrectly or something
...? :o\ I'd really like to get this to work so I can move on to other
stuff ...
Thanks for the assist.
