I changed the font on all the chapter headings throughout my document. When
I re-calc'd my Table of Contents all the headings were dropped.

I tried re-highlighting the heading, clicking SHFT-ALT-O and marking the
heading. I returned to my TOC, re-calc'd and they still did not show up!

Please, any other suggestions to revive my TOC??

TIA... -Bob

How did you change the font on all the chapter headings?

I highlighted the heading then clicked Format|Font and selected the new
font. Any ideas on how to restore this?

Sounds like you're not using styles. Using named styles (like Heading 1 for
a first-level heading, for example) would give more predictable results. If
you decide to apply styles, select the paragraphs and press Ctrl+q (to reset
the paragraph to it's original definition) and Ctrl+space (to remove local
character formatting), then apply the Heading 1. If Heading 1 doesn't appear
as you would like, change the style, don't change the text manually.

Tim,
Your correct! By setting the style my headings have been popping up.
Thanks, -Bob
