Click on the Table of Contents tab. Then the Modify button. Select the TOC
level to be indented. Click Modify again. Select Format | Paragraph and set
your left indent to the degree needed. If there is only one change click
your way out saying OK on each page. Otherwise make changes as necessary
then exit. You will be told it is updating. Looks like you have a problem in
the assigned headings.
One possible way of doing it is to make Heading 1 anything numbered 1.0, 2.0
etc
Heading 2 anything numbered 1.1, 1.2 etc
Heading 3 anything numbered 1.1.1, 1.1.2 etc
Then it should work nicely.
