Hi,

Besides the basic numbered text..1,2,3 etc. is there anyway numbered bullets
can be formatted within drawing shape or a text box?.. I'm looking for a
fancier way of doing number bullets.

Any ideas appreciated..

You can select a different font for numbers, and there are some fonts that
have numbers in circles, squares, or triangles (usually both black on white
and the reverse), but these would work only if the numbers were in the same
font position as an ordinary character set AND if your list had 9 or fewer
items.

If you're using Word 2000, you have a "picture bullets" option, but this
would probably get pretty complex, since you'd have to use a different
bullet for each numbered item. If you have only a few items and the
numbering is set (you won't be adding or deleting items and needing them to
renumber automatically), you could format the list by hand, using fancy
clipart numbers.
