Watermark too dark

Question: is there a way to make a watermark lighter? At present it is too
dark particularly when we take a photocopy of the page having the watermar

Is the watermark text or a graphic? How was it created? What did you do to
lighten it?

Hi L.T.,

If the watermark is inserted as a graphic then the
'watermark' setting is just a preset for the
brightness and contrast choices for the graphic.
Right click on the graphic and you can adjust the
settings to 'lighten' the graphic if you aren't
able to prepare it ahead of time in a graphics app.

Also check to see if you have Tools=>Options=>Compatability
or a setting in your printer properties that is printing
shaded images as black.
