I created a form in Word 2000 using multiple (30+) text boxes. I want to be
able to move from one text box to the next by using the 'Tab' (or 'Enter' or
'arrow') key. If I try any of those keys now they function WITHIN the text
box. The only keys that break out of the text box & move me to another
location are the 'Page Up' & 'Page Down' keys but they jump ahead huge
sections so they don't solve the problem.

Thanks for your time & advice!

Never mind.

I just discovered the 'Create Text Box Link' function. The 'Enter' key
works aok. There is a weird little delay from one box to the next... but
dealable.

You're confusing text boxes with text form fields; see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm and especially
the forms tutorials by Dian Chapman that this article links to.
