I print screened a picture from a slide show to a microsoft word document.How
do i set it as my desktop background

without knowing what operating system(OS) you are using, my answer may not
help.

for Microsoft windows OS(XP, Vista), i dont believe you can use word files
as desktop backgrounds. most pictures files can be used and/or HTML.
