I want to make a rectangular picture taken from the internet and use it in an
oval shape. So how do I eliminate the four corners of the picture so that I
get an oval form? I am using the 2003 version of Microsoft. I do have Adobe
photoshop.

1. Insert an ellipse shape from the Drawing toolbar and size it as desired.
To get the correct dimensions, either note the height and width of the
picture and replicate them with the ellipse or insert the picture
temporarily and draw the ellipse over it.

2. With the ellipse selected, click the arrow beside the Fill Color (paint
bucket) button on the Drawing toolbar and choose Fill Effects.

3. In the Fill Effects dialog, select the Picture tab and click Select
Picture...

4. Browse to the location of your picture and select it.

Note that the entire picture will be used. If you need to crop it, you will
need to do this in an external graphics editor before inserting it.
