Hi,

i just want to format a table. But... it has to be precise by 0,0005 cm.
Word rounds to Zero. or to 5 after the 3 number (0,65)

How close can i get to 0,6125 cm ?

Word's basic unit of measurement is the "twip", of which there are
1440 to the inch, so 1 twip = approximately 0.017639 mm, just under
seven ten-thousandths of an inch)

So precision to 0.005 mm (less than two ten-thousandths of an inch) is
not possible in Word.

Twips don't appear in the user interface, but if you set Word's
measurement units (in Tools|Options|General) to "Points" you can take
advantage of the fact that 1 twip = exactly 0.05 pt.

6.125 mm is approximately 17.362205 pt, so the closest value Word can
provide is 17.35 pt or 6.1207 mm. Is that good enough for you?

(You will no doubt already have deduced that when you specify say
"0.65 cm" in Word, what you actually get is not the exact value
(approximately 18.425197 pt) but the value to the nearest twip (i.e.
369 twip = 18.425 pt = 0.64999 cm).
