Hi J.R.J.,

MS ClipGallery 5.0 is the Office 2000 version. It
was superceded by MS ClipOrganizer 2002 in the
Office XP versions. ClipGallery 5 doesn't (on its
own) interface to Office XP apps but can be run
separately so that you can copy or drag clipart
into it from Start=>Run=>Microsoft Office Tools.

The location in Tools=>Options=>File Location
is the disk drive folder used when you use
the Insert=>picture=>From File feature.

If you start Clip Organizer 2002 (ClipO) it can
catalog and create thumbnails for the clipart it
finds on your hard drive on its own or you can
create your own categories, etc on your own and
drop the graphics or folders into the category to
create thumbnails.

I've got a problem with my clip art collection. I'm
using Windows XP with Word 2002. I have a program called
ClipArt Gallery 5.0 which I think should be interfaced
with Word when I call up a clip art to insert into a
document. I don't know how to interface the programs.

I have clip art in several different locations on the
hard drive. I need to collect them into one general
location for common use. I would like to use them with
Publisher also.

In word I went to Tools and Options and File Locations to
see where my pointer was aimed.

How do I set up the clip art so it can best be used by
Word and Publisher?<<
