Hi, I have made some labels with a photograph behind the text, ie the text is
in front. I need to alter the picture, but cannot select it. I tried
putting the text to the back, ie behind text, but while the text disappeared,
i still couldl not select the picture. i would be grateful for your urgent
response. Thanks in advance.

On the Home tab of the Ribbon go to the right hand end and click on the
Select pulldown in the Editing section of the Ribbon and from the list,
click on the Select Objects item. After doing that, you should be able to
select the pictures.
