What happens if you press Ctrl+` (that is, hold down the Ctrl key, type `,
and release both keys) and type u?

Or what happens if you hold down the Alt key, type 0249 from the numeric
keypad (not from the top row of numbers on the keyboard), and release the Alt
key?
