I am trying to create an email template for a newsletter I want to send
weekly. The first issue I am having is if the graphics or the text boxes
overlap then the font goes bold and illegible. The second is on my computer
in Outlook it looks fine, but on another computer, in Outlook it loses it's
formatting. Any thoughts anyone?

You are creating an html document. Layouts that are compatible with Word
document format are incompatible with html. So start by using the web view
to layout your document.

Of course many of your potential recipients will be viewing e-mails in plain
text format so will not see your formatting anyway, so the best plan is to
send out your newsletter as an attachment - preferably in PDF format for
which you will need extra software, which allow those who want it to see it
as intended and will make it even easier for those of us who abhor such junk
to filter it out.
