I have a document with literally hundreds of comments. I need to send the
document without the comments. Do I need to delete each comment individually
or is there a way to delete all the comments at once?

On the Reviewing toolbar, click the arrow next to Reject Change/Delete
Comment , and then click Delete All Comments in Document.
