where can I download the original Word 2003?

I have received a "cleaned/ refurbished" PC from my school system with
NOTHING but Windows 2000 on it. How can I download the ORIGINAL version (not
the updates and patches) to get Word on my computer? The newest version does
not work with W2000, so I'm assuming I need Word 2000-2003? HELP!!

You can't download it. You need to purchase the software and install it.

Short answer is that you can't. Your best options are to install Windows XP
and then Word 2003 or buy a copy of Word 2000 from a rummage sale or eBay.
