I have a licenced and registered version of Office 2000.I would like to
start scanning all of my important files to Microsoft word. I have started
with an 8 page document that I would like to scan to word. When I use my HP
Officejet d145 all of the documents appear to be scanned into word, but when
I try to verify that every page was scanned, all I see is the first page.
What am I doing wrong- thank you - Ulysse

Chances are that what you have is pictures of pages, all on top of each
other in page one of the Word document. Click on what you see and then press
delete. What happens?

You need to run the scanned image through an OCR program. Such a program
turns the pictures of pages into words and letters. They are far from
perfect at it and the better your original, the better job they do. One such
program probably came with your scanner.
