I want to use the Euro symbol in my word document.
I see the symbol on the 4 key but can't make it appear in my document.
What key combinations do I use to activate the Euro symbol?

Ctrl + Alt + E should give you the euro in Word 2003, unless you've
reassigned that keystroke combo to something else.

You should use the ALT-GR key to the right of the spacebar with 4 to get the
alternative character

It depends what keyboard language you are using. It is slightly different
depending on your version of Windows but see under Control Panel > Regional
Options and make sure it's English (UK) and then you can use AltGr+4 (or
Ctrl+Alt+4)
