i would like to insert a PDF file into a word document,
similar to the way one inserts an image. i'm not sure if
this is the right newsgroup, but i can hope. word lists
an adobe pdf as an available format, but only inserts an
icon linking to the document. it's not because i
have "diplay as icon" selected (i have toggled that
option), and i have tried the "convert" option in word,
but it is still displayed as an icon. is there anyway to
do this?

THANK YOU! it worked. i've been working for 3 hours on
how to get a decent looking image of a full page onto a
page in word and absolutely nothing was working. thank
you SO much.

>If you have the full version of Acrobat you can open
your PDF file and use the graphics select tool. Simply
select the entire page (or a specific area) then chose
copy, open your Word document and select paste.
