I used to be able, when making an outline, to just press TAB or SHIFT+TAB to
change the increase or decrease in the indent of the outline. But now for
some reason, it will not work anymore. I know how to do it alternate ways,
but it slows me down quite a bit.

Word 2000 or earlier: On the Edit tab of Tools | Options, check the box for
"Tabs and backspace set left indent."

Word 2002 and 2003: On the AutoFormat As You Type tab of Tools | AutoCorrect
Options, check the box for "Set left- and first-indent with tabs and
backspaces."
