When I select no border in a table, you can still see a grey border when
viewing online. Is there any way to get rid of this?

In any view, Table | Show Gridlines. In Print Layout view, clear the check
box for "Text boundaries" on the View tab of Tools | Options. But if you're
trying to control the view for a recipient, see

You can turn off the display of Gridlines by going to Table/Hide
Gridlines but this option is not document specific. If you want to
remove the display of table Gridlines on document you are sharing with
others then the suggested method is to use a white border for the
table borders.
