Apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm in a bit of a pickle.

I was working on a word document and deleted a lot of the content. I
then accidentally saved the file. Is there any way I can recover the
previous saved version??

I know, pretty stupid thing to do, but I really need to get the
previous version back.
Is there a tool out there to do it, or am I 100% guaranteed that the
previous version will have been overwritten?

TIA

1. If you saved the file, but still have that file open, you can try to undo
your changes.
2. If you are working on a network, and the file was saved on the network
drive, and your network administrator makes regular backups, he/she should be
able to restore an earlier version.
3. If you are working on a stand-alone computer and you saved an earlier
version under a different name or made a backup, use that version.
4. If none of the above, you are out of luck.
