how can I get accents on my laptop in an easy way like I do on my PC at home
using alt + code thanks

Most of the accented characters have shortcuts that don't need the
number pad. For example, to get an acute accent over a vowel, press
Ctrl+' and then type the letter. To get a grave accent the shortcut is
Ctrl+` and then the letter. (That's the key above the Tab key.) For a
letter with a tilde, press Ctrl+Shift+~ and then the letter.

There are built-in keyboard shortcuts (which don't use the numeric keypad)
for most accented characters. See
