Help! The numbers in some (but not all) of my sub-categories in Word are
being bolded (and I don't want them bolded -- only my first level TOC1).
I have categories like this:

1 This is my first level subject
1.1 This is my second level subject
1.2 More on this
1.2.1 This is my third level subject
2 Second level
2.1 more
2.1.1 More

Anyhow, not consistently, the 1.1 or 2.1.1 or whatever is choosing to be
bolded and I don't want that. I'm working on something VERY important at
work that has to be delivered to another company and I can't send it like
this. I figure it's some nuance of Word, but I don't know what it is and I
need help FAST.

Thanks! Patti

The table of contents could be picking up direct formatting from your
headings. Select each of the problem headings and press Ctrl+SpaceBar;
this clears any font settings not in style. (Make sure that you select
the *entire* heading paragraph!) When you are done, update the table
of contents, and see if it behaves.
