Hi,
Have been having an issue in Google Docs. When typing an apostrophe or quotation marks, if I type a letter afterwards it appears as a curved apostrophe instead of a straight one. For example, when typing don't, it would appear as this: don'’

I would have to type don' then add a space, then I could add the final t.

Same with quotation marks.

Any ideas? I have the US international keyboard and have followed some suggestions from other forums but nothing is working... thanks

Not a question about Microsoft Word.
(Why would you want the wrong form -- "straight quotes" -- to appear?)

I could tell you how to turn that off in MSWord, but I wouldn't.

I've been having the exact same problem. Did you find out why?

I just found a solution. Apparently the problem is not with google docs itself. I found out that it happens when my keyboard is set to a different language other than English. So, when I set my keyboard to English, it works. I'm using a Mac, for what it's worth.
