I have an 8-column, 8-row table with text left-aligned in
column 1 and dec-tab-aligned numerals in columns 2 thru 7,
all set in Arial 10 font. I have been trying to insert
right-aligned tab leaders (similar as those available in
the TOC program) after the line of text in Table column 1
to the column border thru the Format/Tabs dialog, but WORD
doesn't seem to know how to do this. Someone advised me
to hold down the ALT key and drag with the left pointer to
the cell border in the horizontal Ruler, but this merely
converts my font to Times New Roman 14, and completely
louses up the dec-tab alignment in the number columns.
All suggestions appreciated. Many thanks.

Paul,

Use Format>Tabs to set a right aligned dot leader tab at
the cell right border. To TAB within a cell you need to
hold down CTRL and the press TAB.
