I can't clig and drag to select text, or drag it around the screen once
selected this is driving me mad... what have i done???? Help anyone

In Word 2003 and earlier, choose Tools - Options - Edit tab, place a check
next to Drag-and-drop text editing. (In Word 2007, choose Office button -
Word Options - Advanced tab - Editing options, tick Allow text to be dragged
and dropped.)

Thank yu for your responce...
It suddenly started to highlight and drag and drop... it apears that whilst
norton was scanning my hard drive... in hte background... under vista and
offcie 2007... I can't highlight or drag and drop... bizarre but true... hope
this helps anyone else
