How do I remove an automatic footer?

I have just started a new job and I have a problem with the computer here.
Every single word document generates with date and time of creation of the
document and the document name and file path. I would like to turn this off.

Somebody added those items to the footer of the Normal.dot template.
To remove them, edit Normal.dot itself. See these articles for help:
