how do you print in color

When I go to print something that has colored text and black text it will
only print the black text. In print preview it shows both colors and I have a
colored ink cartridge in so what am I doing wrong?

Word - Tools - Options - Print
What is checked?
Which Word are you using?
Try doing the same thing in MS Paint and see if the colors print.
I have a feeling the color cartridge is dry or bad or not seated correctly
since you never mentioned it being full or tested fine using another app,
etc...
