Thank you, but I couldn't make that work. Let me explain further; I can send
out a new letter with an attachment (my newsletter as a pdf) it works fine.
However that only works one person at a time. If I use the mail merge wizard,
the letter gets sent out, but no attachment shows up. It makes no sense that
I can send out one letter at a time, but when I want to send out 700 thru
mail merge, the attachment won't go with it! Any suggestions?

I don't think fellow MVP Doug Robbins who wrote the web page monitors this
group - you'll find him in the mail merge newsgroup -
microsoft.public.word.mailmerge.fields - but he wrote the macro to address
exactly this issue. If you wish to pursue this with him in that group, you
will need to explain what problems you are having with the macro. If it is
merely a question of not understanding how to use the vba code, then see
http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm

Another thought: Our ISP has notified us that now many ISPs regulate how
many pieces of mail you can send at once (4) (10) (50) (100) etc. (security
re; spam), so maybe that is something to check out.
