You can click the ś button on the Standard toolbar to hide nonprinting
characters. For more, see

Do you mean the paragraph mark? Are there dots between the words where
there should be spaces? If so, these are non-printing characters. You can
stop them from being displayed on the screen by clicking the paragraph ( ś )
icon on the toolbar, or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + *.
