in landscape page set up, i need to subdivide the page into 4 parts. How is
this done?

The easiest way to do it would be to insert a table with two rows and two
columns. Then go into Table - Table Properties, and on the Row tab, set each
row to be about 3 inches tall.

If you don't like the line around each quarter of the page, you can select
the table and then use Format - Borders and Shading to remove or change the
lines.
