Set a different first page. File | Page Setup | Layout tab and check
Different First Page. Then go to header and footer and make sure you are on
the first page when you type your text. (You can also then add a different
header and footer to the rest of the document if you wish.) Hope this helps.

Yes, on the heades and footers toolbar, click on the Page Layout button (it
looks like an open book) and then go to the Layout tab and check the
Different First Page box, When you close that dialog, you should see a
First Page Header/Footer pane in which you can construct the headers and
footers that you want to appear on the first page.

Is there a way to save just a Header and then import that Header into another
document?
