Problem with Quick Parts Formatting

I keep saving a block of text as a quick part and when I select it in a
new document the alignment is changed.

The alignment I'm saving it as has title that is center aligned and then
a block of text below that is aligned left.

Every time that I select it the whole thing is center-aligned. I keep
re-saving the quick part the way I want but as soon as I try to select
it in a doc the whole thing is center aligned again.

I exit out of word every time and save the "building block" file. I've
also gone in to building blocks and deleted the quick part several times
to start fresh.

Any help would be appreciated. Could this be a template issue. I have
other quick parts that don't seem to be affected?

Help please!

Recreate the Quick Part. Make sure that each paragraph has the desired
formatting (by adding formatting directly to the paragraphs or by creating
specific paragraph styles for the purpose). Also, make sure to select whole
paragraphs (up to and including the paragraph mark) when recreating the entry.
That should preserve paragraph formatting correctly.

To show/hide paragraph marks (¶), as well as other nonprinting marks, click the
¶ button on the Home tab.

Unfortunately, they didn't work. It seems like it's defaulting to some
underlying template or something. I've tried changing the normal.dotm
file. I'm not sure what to try next. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

which version of Word do you use? Please describe - step by step - the
way, how you format, how you save the quick part.

Are you saying that your modifications aren't being saved?
