Is there any way to make changes to a document that I marked "final?"

Do you mean, you chose "Final" from the list of views under Track
Changes? That doesn't affect your document at all, just what you see
on your screen. Choose "Final with Markup" instead, and you'll see all
of your insertions and deletions right where they've always been.

You know how you click the Start button to make Windows stop? <g> The same
people worked on this, obviously.

To make a document "not final", click Office button > Prepare > Mark as Final
again. It's just an on/off switch.
