How do I freeze an image in a word document ?

Dear All,
I have inserted an image into a word document.
In order to prevent it from editing or moving how do I freeze it ?
Anybody can help, please ?

An image can be "Inline with text" or floating around (then it's called
a Shape). All in all, inline images are a lot more stable to handle:
Word treats them like a big character. If you put it in its own
paragraph, there's not much that can happen to it layout-wise.

Depending on the version of Word you're using, there are different ways
to further protect certain parts.
