I'm having a problem opening word documents. I've created a new word
document and saved it. When I attempt to open the same docuement, I get the
following message "Word automatically saved changes to the Normal document
template". Then when I try to open it I get "MS Word can't import the
specified format. This feaure is not currently installed . Would you like
to install it now?". If I answer yes. I get a format not supported message.
When I try to exit Word my machine hangs. I spoke to a friend who said it
had to do with the Normal.dot file. I seached for it and could not find it.
Any ideas would be apprieciated?

In Word, click on Tools | Options | File Locations. Your normal.dot
file will be in the folder designated for "User Templates". It is a
hidden file in Word 2002 and 2003.
