Why do you want to do this?
If Word doesn't crash (which in normal circumstances it shouldn't) then the
task pane never appears.
On your own machine you can turn it off from tools > options > save - set
save auto recover interval to none.
or with vba
Options.SaveInterval = 0
Note that this is an all or nothing setting. Other users will not thank you
if you turn off their possibility of recovering from a crash.
