File Menu Doesn't work

Even though you haven't actually lost the Menu Bar, this sounds like a
symptom of the same sort of Registry corruption that causes that, so you may
want to just go ahead and nuke the key as described in
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/AppErrors/MissingMenusEtc.htm

Thanks,

I tried the registry solutions on that site you pointed
out. It worked for a little while but the problem came
back. Any other suggestions
