Hi --

I just became aware of third party addin for Word 2007 that promises to
bring back the Word 2003 menu.

My situation is that I used to be very competent with previous versions of
Word but now rarely use it because my office uses WordPerfect. Now,
however, I am trying to help a friend create something that is relatively
complicated with graphics and I just cannot find what I want in Word 2007
and cannot make the program do what I want with the available selections.
When I do a google search, it just says that the sought items are no longer
shown.

Can anyone comment positively or negatively on this addin? I am wondering
if you can just enable or disable it when you wish.

Thanks.

There is no add-in that will bring back the Word 2003 interface - merely a
pale imitation of it. Whether or not you will find that useful, or whether
it will help you find commands relating to your task is debatable -
especially as graphics are one area that has changed in Word 2007.

I believe Greg Maxey had such an add-in on his web site
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tips.htm and the free version of
http://ribboncustomizer.com/ does much the same.

If you need help with your graphics issue in Word 2007 come back with your
question(s).
